Policies & Frequently Asked Questions

Reschedule & Refund Policy:

The student, or gardian, must notify me at least 24-hours prior to their scheduled lesson time in order to receive a refund or the ability to reschedule. If the student, or gardian, fails to notify me more than 24-hours in advance they will still be responsible for paying for the missed lesson.

1. What if I need to miss a weekly scheduled lesson?

That is not a problem. Let me know more than 24-hours before the scheduled lesson and we will work to find a new time to reschedule first. If that seems unlikely I will refund you for that missed lesson, minus the transaction fee.

2. What payment options are offered for lessons?

Students are able to choose between several methods for lesson payments. Students can sign-up for auto-drafted weekly payments, purchase a one-time lesson or buy gift packages - all from the pricing page. Alternatively, students can pay me directly at the beginning of each month, for the full amount of lessons occurring that month. I accept credit card payments through this website and other payment accommodations can be discussed. All payments must be made prior to the lesson, no exceptions.

3. Do you offer gift cards?

I do not offer gift cards at this time but I do offer the option to purchase lessons in bulk that can be gifted to others. Simply purchase the Gift Package, found on the pricing page, and you will receive an email with the free E-Book download. This is good to print off as a physical gift before the student schedules their first lesson. When the student schedules their first lesson with me, all they need to do is give me the purchaser's name so I can confirm how many lessons they are owed. All of the lessons must be scheduled within six months of the purchase date.

4. Why is the first lesson free with the weekly lesson options?

I want new students to feel confident that I am the right teacher to help get them closer to their music goals before committing their time and money. The first lesson is a good time to discuss goals and ask questions.

5. Do you teach from a book?

All students are emailed a copy of my Guitar Basics E-book after the first lesson but intermediate and advanced students will have specific books recommended to them as needed.
